User FAQs

The restaurant believes in providing access to the freshest seafood possible. They source their New England fish from local fishermen on the Boston Fish Pier. Their dishes are cooked in simple, authentic recipes as an ode to their Sicilian roots. They have been providing this supreme seafood dining experience for 50 years.

Some of the signature dishes include a 1-1/4 lb lobster, calamari, littlenecks, mussels & shrimp simmered in their spicy signature seafood tomato sauce served over linguine. They also offer fresh homemade squid ink linguine and tender medallions of monkfish simmered with mushrooms in a sweet marsala sauce. Customers can also add 4oz of scallops or shrimp to their linguine for an additional cost.

The restaurant offers patio seating with waterfront views. They also have a raw bar and a selection of local beer on tap, fine Italian Vino, and craft cocktails. Customers can inquire about their beer and wine selection to accompany their take out orders.

Customers absolutely love this place for its rich flavor in the sauce without being too salty. They appreciate the passion put into each dish and find the wait in line and the small space inside worth it once they have the food in front of them. They also find the fish, especially the shrimp and calamari, fresh and perfectly cooked. The restaurant is highly recommended and customers can't wait to go back.

The founder, Paul Freddura, was born and raised in the North End and learned the seafood trade from the ‘old timers’ on the Boston docks. In 1973, he established the restaurant in a shoebox storefront in the heart of the North End. The restaurant has since been providing a supreme seafood dining experience for 50 years.
