You can expect an exciting and unique experience aboard a spacious, 106' vessel that can comfortably carry up to 149 passengers. The journey departs from downtown Newburyport, traveling out the Merrimack River into the Gulf of Maine. This is where a variety of marine life can be found, including Humpback, Finback, and Minke Whales, as well as Porpoise, Seals, Sharks and an array of Sea Birds. Each trip is unique due to the diverse wildlife in the open ocean. One of the expert naturalists on board will share their passion and knowledge of the marine environment and sightings encountered.

The whale watching season runs from May through October. The journey can take you to either the feeding grounds of Jeffreys Ledge or Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, both of which are locations within the 36,000 square miles of the Gulf of Maine.

You can directly book online or call 1-800-848-1111 or 1-978-499-0832 (outside New England) to make your reservation.

The company is part of a voluntary program committed to responsible whale watching. They believe it’s important to keep the whales' well-being in mind so that everyone can have a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.

The tours are operated by a locally owned and operated crew. The friendly and knowledgeable crew would love to show you some of the world's largest creatures.
